Frequently asked questions

Do you charge a travel fee for outer suburbs?

No. There is no surcharge for the Northern Beaches, Thuringowa or the southern suburbs. Magnetic Island attracts a travel component because of the ferry, and we will tell you that before you book.

How quickly can you get to my suburb?

Most of the Townsville urban area is within twenty minutes of our Garbutt depot, and most general jobs are scheduled within the week. Urgent work is prioritised.

Do you service Magnetic Island?

Yes, by arrangement. We usually schedule several island properties on one ferry crossing, so flexibility on timing helps us keep the cost down for everyone.

Do you service rural properties outside Townsville?

Case by case. Call and describe the location and the job. We would rather tell you honestly that it is outside our range than take a booking we cannot service properly.
